Richard Schwartz (Charlotte, NC)

Richard Schwartz is a longtime Charlotte, NC, real estate executive who accepted responsibilities with Village Park Homes as chief operating officer and president in early 2015. He builds on extensive leadership experience in guiding activities of a new home development and construction firm. In taking on his current position, Richard Schwartz spoke of expanding the company on a regional scale, as the current market conditions support sustained growth. The firm undertakes projects in top-tier locations such as Hilton Head and Savannah, and is known as a Carolina Top Ten Home Builder.

Mr. Schwartz previously owned Premier Property Management and oversaw staff recruiting efforts. Also serving as president of Calloway Homes in Charlotte, NC, for four years, he expanded the small residential builder in ways that reduced market risks. In 2009, the firm earned selection as the region’s fifth largest townhome construction firm. Mr. Schwartz is currently in the process of earning his commercial contractors license through the National Association of State Contractors.
