Richmond Dewan

My name is Richmond Dewan. I am 19 years old. Born and raised in Austin, Texas, the Live Music Capital of the World and now finding myself in the Big D-Dallas, TX. I don't know people who know people; I work to know people. I have the greatest friends and mentors in the world.

I am the co-founder and former Executive Producer of TEDxYouth@Austin- the world's largest TEDxYouth event with over 1,000 attendees now on it's 4th year.

I currently attend Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX studying Marketing and Computer Science. At SMU, I am currently the Concert Chair, VP of Communications and Development for SMU's Assembly of Resident Life and Student Housing, Senior Young Fellow for TEDxSMU, Admissions Ambassador for Undergraduate Admissions, and Executive Business Manager for SMU's all male acapella group- The Southern Gentlemen.

I'm a musician, entertainer, photographer, videographer, story teller, actor, leader, thinker, creator, planner and producer.
