Ricky DeMaio

In 2010 I graduated from Colorado College with a B.A. in Anthropology with distinction and I am now living in the center of the world — New York City.

I work as a Community Manager at Likeable Media exploring the relationships forged through social media with both consumers and brands. I love working in social media because it encompasses all the aspects of anthropology that I studied in school, but in an exciting and ever-changing setting. I love the engaging two-way-street that digital marketing now encourages.

When I'm not sitting behind my computer screen I'm either reading, looking for a new coffee house, or pretending my life is an untold story from the Harry Potter books. I love learning and connecting with others so feel free to reach out!

Right now I'm also a Freelance Copywriter at LivingSocial. In the past I've worked as a salesman, a counselor, a barista, an administrator, and a mentor.
