Ricky Mantei

A veteran of the United States Air Force, Ricky Mantei is dedicated to providing clients with personalized and adaptable financial guidance. He assists them with a variety of financial matters that range from retirement planning and business structure to wealth accumulation and taxation. Ricky Mantei developed knowledge of the financial industry while working as a registered representative and stockbroker at Merrill Lynch. He now leverages his understanding of the markets and various financial matters to lead Centaurus Financial’s Lexington, South Carolina, branch. As a branch manager, he oversees 50 employees at six offices.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Mantei split his time between his work in the finance sector and involvement with the military. A graduate of the United States Air Force Academy, he holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, along with a master’s in personnel management from Central Michigan University. He is a skilled front-line fighter pilot and pilot instructor who is familiar with both F-4 Phantoms and F-16 Falcons.

While in the military, Ricky Mantei earned several honors, including five air medals and the Distinguished Flying Cross award for his service in Desert Storm. He continues to support the military by regularly contributing to veteran-focused organizations. In addition, he volunteers with Homestead Hospice in Columbia, where he visits one veteran every Sunday. He spends a couple of hours chatting with these veterans, each of whom receives a gift from him.
