Craftsman and Woodworker in Clemmons, North Carolina
River Bend Crafting began as a hobby when Theresa Hudson decided to try her hand at wood working because, having grown up on a farm in the foothills of North Carolina, she always had an affection for the creative influence of the outdoors. Her first craft was when she whittled a ball in a cage. Although she admits that her ball was all but perfect, she was inspired to explore other wood working ideas and carved her family crest, paying homage to her Scottish heritage. The result was received with an overwhelmingly positive response and her creative genius was quickly awakened. She began carving, staining, and burning all kinds of nature’s representatives from butterflies to sunflowers to animals; and of course, continued honing her skills crafting family crests. Her collection and expertise has grown to include various carvings, walking sticks and staffs, staining and wood burning. She can personalize any of her work to fit your ideas, styles, and occasions. The best part is that you are able to communicate directly with the artist in able to share and develop ideas concerning your desired personalized crafts—which are always made from scratch.
