Robert Michaels is the CEO and Founder of Serve & Protect, an international trauma services organization dedicated to facilitating comprehensive, collaborative,compassionate, confidential care of public safety professionals and their families.
Based in Brentwood TN, Michaels also leads Guns’n’Hoses Bible Fellowship for public safety.Rob served in law enforcement with the 229th Military Police Battalion of theVirginia Army National Guard as well as with Norfolk (VA) Police Department, bothon patrol and in the detective bureau.
For 33 years, Rob served in the music / entertainment industry through marketing, PR, and management services. He has 24 gold, platinum, and multi-platinum albums in recognition for his work on those projects.
Rob also serves as Chaplain for the FBI Memphis Division, Nashville R.A., State Chaplain for Tennessee Fraternal Order of Police, and is a Chaplain and SecondVice President for Morris Heithcock FOP Lodge 41 in Williamson County TN wherehe is an active member. He is also a member of the American Legion.
He served as Guest Chaplain for the U.S. House ofRepresentatives September 9, 2015 leading the opening prayer.
Rob is a member of the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress,andNational Center for Crisis Management, and American Legion. He holds a B.A.from Columbia International University and a M.A. from Wheaton College (IL).
