I was born in Brookly, N.Y. My parents are from the West Indies. My father is from Trinidad and my mom is from St.Kitts. I grew up and still reside in Canrasie, Brooklyn. I started my passion of taking picturesat the age of 11. Anytime I went anyehwere whethwer family outing or haning with friends I would take pictures of my surroundings and people, but always forgetting to have pictures of myself taken. I was so focused on creating the best shot looking very carefully what to keep in the frame or take out. As I got older and technology advancedespecially with cell phones, I began taking pictures and video with my Treo 650 from Cingular Wireless. Anytime I saw my friends doing something crazy or cool I took my phone out and would take video. One of my good friends would see my videos and told me that i shoud take up film in school, so i changed my major from computer science which I was failing to Film Marketing a decision I was happy to make. For first time since attending Brooklyn College I was interested in the classes and eager to learn.
