Robert C Double

Robert C. Double attended Wheaton College, in Wheaton, Illinois, where he graduated with honors and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical and Theological Studies. He continued his studies at Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California, and obtained a Master of Arts in Theology with a GPA of 3.85. Today, Robert C. Double is pursuing a law degree at the Chicago-Kent College of Law, where he ranks in the top five percent of his class and is on the dean's list. He expects to graduate in 2014.

As a student, Robert C. Double balances his classwork with two legal posts, one as a Judicial Extern to Judge Jesse Reyes, the other as a Research Assistant for Professor Christopher Schmidt. The positions enable Mr. Double to gain work experience by researching legal concepts, preparing default judgments, and examining judgment-of-foreclosure and order-approving-sale paperwork.

Before entering law school, Robert C. Double served in ministry programs affiliated with his undergraduate alma mater and with faith-based organizations in New York State. He lent his time to a church, where he revived its youth program and prepared weekly lessons. From September 2008 to August 2009, Robert C. Double volunteered for the LINC Interdenominational Youth Committee and collaborated with his counterparts to organize events. During this time, he helped to coordinate social outings to ice hockey games as well as educational sessions in which students learned about homelessness. Earlier, he interned during the summer of 2007, organizing a 21-day, 19-person trip to India sponsored by Antioch Community Church and Wheaton College.
