Robert P. Givens is the president of RPG Consulting LLC, which he founded in 2013 to provide business and client development services as well as executive coaching and instruction. He also assists clients with strategic planning and operations management. Prior to launching his firm, Robert P. Givens spent 27 years with the United States Air Force, ultimately retiring as a Brigadier General. He attended the United States Air Force Academy, earning a bachelor of science in history, and he went on to earn an master of business administration from Troy State University and a master’s degree in military operational art/science from Air Command & Staff College. Additionally, he earned master’s degrees in airpower art and science as well as national security strategy.

Throughout his military career, Robert P. Givens gained a great deal of management experience as special assistant to the chairman of joint chiefs of staff and deputy assistant chief of staff for Operations of U.S. Forces Korea. He also clocked more than 3,700 flying hours in the F-16 and A/O A-10 and twice was decorated with the Distinguished Flying Cross for heroism in Iraq.
