Robert “Bo” Parfet, an accomplished investor and author, is also the founder and CEO of Denali Venture Philanthropy. The company invests in and supports organizations that are raising awareness and collects funds for various social issues around the globe. Robert “Bo” Parfet founded the company in 2010.

For Parfet, Denver is exceptionally important; both his company and family are situated in the City of Boulder on Denver’s outskirts. Though born and raised in Kalamazoo, Michigan, for Robert Parfet, Colorado is currently home. He is also an author, with two books published to date. His first book, “They Lived to Tell the Tale: True Stories from the Legendary Explorers Club,” focuses on members of the Explorers Club and their exploits. His second book, “Die Trying: One Man’s Quest to Conquer the Seven Summits,” chronicles his quest to reach the peaks of the Seven Summits. It is also important to note that during his second visit to Kilimanjaro, he was a vanguard member of the team of scientists that discovered nearly 30 new species.
