Currently based in Fort Sam Houston, Texas, Robert Rendon is a senior advisor with the United States Army, handling matters related to human intelligence and counterintelligence, as well as supervising eight force protection detachments in Latin America. In an Army career spanning almost 40 years, Robert Rendon has also worked in various intelligence positions with the 650th MI Group.

Mr. Rendon holds an associate’s degree from New Mexico State University and a bachelor of science from New York Regents. Additionally, he attended the U.S. Army Advanced Counterintelligence (CI) Training Course and the Military Operations Training Course.

He is a member of several professional organizations, including the Military Intelligence Corps Association and the Military Intelligence Civilian Excepted Career Program (MICECP). The senior MICECP member, Mr. Rendon helps to lead the organization of public servants who have expert knowledge they share with the military. In his free time, he enjoys reading about historic and scientific topics and counts The Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire among his favorite titles.
