An independent Certified Financial Planner (CFP) for more than a quarter-century, Robert M. Ryerson draws upon a network of professionals in a range of fields to meet the unique needs of each client. This network includes estate planning attorneys, mortgage brokers, investment advisors, and experts in the fields of accounting, taxation, insurance, retirement planning, and college planning. In addition to serving clients directly as a CFP, Robert M. Ryerson has shared his expertise as a frequent public speaker and is the author or co-author of two different books on financial topics.

Mr. Ryerson holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Rutgers University. Alongside his colleague Louis Terrero, he teaches a comprehensive retirement planning course at multiple New Jersey institutions of higher learning as part of the national financial literacy nonprofit The Society for Financial Awareness. For the past five years, he has also taught continuing education classes to Certified Public Accountants and insurance professionals online, tackling subjects that range from economic trends, to investing, to identity theft protection.
