Robert Vitolo

Recognized worldwide for his skill as a cosmetic and plastic surgeon, Robert Vitolo, MD, offers a range of noninvasive and surgical procedures to enhance the faces, breasts, and bodies of women and men. Dr. Robert Vitolo’s clients include the famous and the not-so-famous at his private practice, Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. The practice operates in three locations in New York City and in a fourth location in Shrewsbury, New Jersey.

Board certified in surgery and plastic surgery, Robert Vitolo, MD, is a fellow of the American and International Colleges of Surgeons. He also maintains memberships in multiple professional organizations, including the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and the Richmond County Medical Society of Staten Island.

Dr. Vitolo’s renown stems partially from his pioneering work in endoscopic breast augmentation. Trans-umbilical breast augmentation (TUBA) offers a natural look, minimal down time, and no visible scarring. In TUBA, the surgeon makes a small incision inside the belly button to access the breast area. Dr. Vitolo is one of only a few surgeons in the United States to perform the procedure whic uses saline filled breast implants. He also uses the most advanced, anatomically-shaped silicone gel implants for his conventional breast augmentation surgery.

Additional procedures performed by Dr. Robert Vitolo include the endoscopic facelift and endoscopic brow lift. With these surgeries, he creates natural results without the scarring of traditional lifts. He also performs state-of-the-art liposuction in conjunction with expert body sculpting.

During a career spanning more than 25 years, Robert Vitolo, MD, has held a number of academic posts. He has instructed students in plastic surgery at SUNY Downstate Medical Center and has served as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Plastic Surgery at New York Medical College.
