Most recently serving as CEO and chief medical officer with National Pain Care, Inc., Robert Windsor, MD, guided a Marietta, Georgia, company that represents one of the country’s leading health care platforms. Robert Windsor, MD, oversaw development of treatment protocols in tandem with board and staff members.
Continuing to practice interventional care, Dr. Windsor guided a National Pain Care expansion process that involved assessment of clinics that were within the local region. Those that represented a good fit were acquired and fully integrated within existing operations.
Attending Texas A&M University on a track and field scholarship in the early 1980s, Dr. Windsor completed his doctor of medicine in 1985 at the age of 23. He was one of the youngest students at the institution ever to achieve such a degree.
Moving to Atlanta in 1989, he engaged with Southern Back & Orthopedic Clinic before establishing his own practice the following year. In 2007, he began the process of acquiring multiple clinics and building up National Pain Care. Robert Windsor, MD, takes pride in the fact that, over his many years in medicine, he has never had a medical malpractice suit filed against him.
