I currently work as an Educational data Scientist in the Connected Intelligence Centre at the University of Technology Sydney.

I did my PhD in the Computer Human Adapted Interaction Research Group at the University of Sydney and a postdoc in the ARC Laureate project of Prof. Peter Goodyear in the Centre for Research on Computer Supported Learning and Cognition (CoCo) at the University of Sydney.

My research focuses on analysing data generated when groups of students interact with and through digital devices to help them and their teachers to be more aware oftheir learning processes and take informed decisions. My research grounds on principles of Human-Computer Interaction, Computer-Supported Collaborative Learning, Educational Data Mining and Learning Analytics.

In my projects I make use of a number of technologies including multi-touch interactive devices, tablets, kinect sensors and data processing tools.

My second job is wildlife (and travel) photographer.
