My name is Robin. I currently live outside of Los Angeles in Altadena, CA. I am originally from Washington DC. I grew up a very city girl until I met my husband Wilson and he introduced me to the outdoors. Fishing, boating and camping. I also battled with my weight and finally found the right combination of diet and exercise that worked for me. I have lost 85lbs and shooting for 100lbs plus. 2 years ago I competed with my husband on NBC's Get Out Alive with Bear Grylls. We spent a month in beautiful New Zealand. I could not and would not have been able to do it without my lifestyle change. I have incorporated hiking, biking and kayaking and I am enjoying eating healthy. I am looking for my next adventure - Maybe a triathlon or marathon.
