Ron’s focus for ten years has been Search Engine Optimization, SEO. Previously as SEO Specialist at Palo Alto Networks, Ron is implementing programs to guide Palo Alto Networks to have a more SEO friendly site. Projects include overall site structure, organizing content and improving navigation adding scalability. Providing guidance for creating new content using competitor and gap analysis, ChatGPT AI, SERP results and keyword/topic research. Created a new URL structure for top of funnel content providing scalability for additional content hubs.

Previously as SEO Manager, using industry-leading tools, he has increased rank and natural search visits with best practices for on-page and off-page optimization for Check Point Software Technologies. As SEO Manager, Ron increased the prioritized keywords appearing on page one of Google 75% from January 2019 to the first half of 2021. The result is a 37% increase of traffic to the site. This also resulted in a 30.5% increase in conversions. Ron started the “What Is” content now called the Cyber Hub on checkpoint.com to accommodate user intent for top of funnel keywords while concentrating on bottom of funnel keywords for product and solutions pages. Using the BrightEdge platform he tracked and reported progress while also training product marketing managers how to use the tool for creating SEO optimized pages.

Ron was a Project Manager focused on SEO and analysis for Cisco. Digital marketing activities include website migration to Adobe Experience Manager and testing, contributing to keyword research and recommendations processes, tracking, analysis and reporting results of optimization using BrightEdge, Adobe Analytics and DOMO.

As a Marketing Manager on Lead Generation for TradeBeam, Ron implemented and managed Salesforce CRM in conjunction with Emma’s email campaign tool to collect leads from specially designed landing pages providing the sales team with quality leads. Worked with the web developer for updating website content and design of email campaigns. In addition, he managed the logistics for all trade shows.
