Ron Heinz

Ron Heinz is an experienced business professional and entrepreneur who laid the foundation for his successful career as a student of finance and management at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in Blacksburg, Virginia. After earning his undergraduate degree, he found immediate employment as a regional sales manager with the Xerox Corporation. While working for Xerox, Ron Heinz returned to the academic environment to obtain his master of business administration from the American University. He subsequently held senior management positions with Novell, Phobos Corp., Helius Corp., and Canopy Ventures.

In 2011, Ron Heinz founded Signal Peak Ventures, a venture capital and growth equity firm with headquarters in Salt Lake City, Utah. Continuing to serve as Signal Peak’s managing director, Mr. Heinz guides the firm's comprehensive investment tactics and ongoing operational focus. He works directly with current and prospective portfolio companies to provide board-level strategic leadership in sales and execution-oriented goal setting and evaluation.
