Ronald Caparella
With a passion for helping people in the medical field, Ronald Caparella established Vital Scan LLC in 2009. The firm performs all vascular modalities using the GE Vivid I in various doctors' offices as a portable service. Doctors are given written reports of all findings to provide an accurate diagnosis.
Ronald Caparella has a background in thoracic cardiovascular diagnostics and modalities. Over the course of his career, he has cultivated skills and expertise in many programs and equipment, including the ATL Ultramark 9, Biosound, and Parks PVR Flo-Lab. He is also knowledgeable in medical terminology, anatomy, and laboratory protocols.
Prior to starting his own business, Ronald Caparella earned a New York State Certification from the Ultrasound Diagnostic School, where he studied cardiovascular ultrasound. He then went on to assume the role of Vascular Technician at Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola, New York, where he performed all vascular modalities while instructing interns and other ultrasound technologists on equipment and protocols. Ronald Caparella also offered his services as a Vascular Technician at the medical office of Dr. Margarita Pascual before accepting employment as an Instructor at the Institute of Allied Medical Professionals. As an Instructor, Caparella trained 40 students on how to use ultrasound machines according to New York State standards.
In addition to managing Vital Scan, Ronald Caparella is involved in a number of charities, including the American Red Cross, Toys for Tots Foundation, Southampton Hospital, and the Joyce Theater. Ronald Caparella especially enjoys supporting the arts. Additionally, he enjoys all forms of music and dance, with a fondness for ballet and opera. He also likes to read and watch productions about history.
