His films are a survey of concepts such as authenticity and objectivity by using anencyclopaedic approach and an almost scientific precision and referencing thedocumentaries, "fact-fiction" and equivalent popular scientists. Applying a poetic andoften metaphoric language, he wants to amplify the astonishment of the Viewer bycreating compositions or settings that generate quiet poetic images that leave streaksand balance on the edge of recognition and alienation. His works appear as dreamlike images where fiction and reality meet, merge tropeswell known shift of meanings, fuse past and present. Time and memory always play akey role. With a conceptual approach, he reflected on the close subjects archives andmemory. This often results in a review of the human need for 'conclusive' stories andthe question whether anecdotes 'fictionalise' history.

His works directly respond to the environment and uses the daily experiences of the artist as a starting point. Often, they are framed instances that would go unnoticed intheir original context.
