Ronn Haus

Ronn Haus has ministered in 70 countries throughout the world in mass crusades, major television, major conference, leadership meetings, church rallies and pastor conferences.

Born and raised in New Jersey, he began preaching at 13 years of age. His teen years of ministry included working with David Wilkerson in the beginning months of Teen Challenge in New York City. He assisted David Wilkerson in a weekly TV program in New York City called, “Teen Challenge”.

Having pastored churches in California for 19 years, Ronn carries a real insight and identification with pastors and the local church.

He traveled extensively ministering with David du Plessis in the late 70’s and early 80’s in the global charismatic movement. He also helped to establish the ministry of John 17:21 which encouraged all believers to unite in the spirit of Jesus’ prayer which calls us to love one another.

In 1983 he built and launched a major Christian television station in the San Francisco market reaching over 10 million people in Northern California. His daily telecast “Coast to Coast” was carried on the Inspirational satellite network nationwide. Ronn has ministered through Christian television for over 30 years.

Ronn deeply believes that God’s plan is still the local church and that this is the greatest hour the church has ever had.

Connie, his wife of 53 years, travels with him. They have 4 children and 15 grandchildren.

DESERT HYMN SING

In the fall of 2001 Connie and myself along with Vern & Mary McLellan invited a group to our home to fellowship over pie and later gathered around the piano to sing and worship the Lord. The old hymns in particular awakened in our souls.

The next month we invited others and soon the monthly "Hymn Sing" was born. After several years we outgrew our home, moved the hymn sing to another home which we also outgrew. It was at that time the Community Presbyterian Church opened their fellowship hall to us (without cost!) and we have been meeting there every month for the last seven years. In December 2014 we had our 150th hymn sing!

We meet on the second Tuesday of each month, 6:30 PM and follow our worship with a time of fellowship. The church provides the coffee and you bring the goodies!
