Before I became a matchmaker, I was both an aspiring model and a Lieutenant in the US Navy. The runway modeling made me float when we marched, I overheard. Lucky. At 19, I had an apartment in Rota, Spain, right on the beach on the Atlantic Ocean. Thank you high school for making me take Spanish.

Experiences that equipped me to be an excellent matchmaker were the heartfelt and intimate conversations with men I met from all of the services. Thousands of men would descend upon Rota when aircraft carrier groups would make a port call on their way in and out of the Mediterranean. They taught me how to relate to men. I learned what they were looking for in relationships.

When I’m not scouring for extremely eligible singles that make up my extensive SPIES database, I love to hike. I climb the Phoenix mountains and enjoy hiking the “rim to rim” in the Grand Canyon. My first kiss was at Grand Canyon YCC summer camp. I love Phantom Ranch at the bottom. You wake up in God’s bedroom!
