Ruby Roy is a passionate local Montréaler but also a world traveler both for her work and her own enjoyment. Raised her entire life in Montreal , the only place she calls home. She has also had the privilege to live up to 9 months at a time in London, Barcelona, Rome, Cairo, Kolkata, Jaipur to name a few regions. She believes strongly in responsible tourism and travel. Whenever possible she encourages her guests to travel, visit and explore by using public transportation, walking and biking. She encourages her guests on her tours to use small local services and businesses run by local Montrealers, who live in Montreal. Both to help the local economy but also to ensure guests get the most memorable, authentic experience. She encourages small talented, up and coming artists in dance and all arts forms to be explore and experienced

Ruby is also a professional photographer, has a passion for cinema and has studied it in Cejep, University and special workshops she continues to follow. These studies, her knowledge of photography, her knowledge of the city has made her the person most in demand working with film crews including the Amazing Race, BBC, Australian, European, USA, Canadian productions. Ruby has also documented through photography the best light, at each time of the year for shooting. As she is a public speaker and comfortable in front of the camera, she is often asked to do stand ups, or voice overs on top of getting crews to their locations efficiently.
