Reverend Rueben Y. Dockery, Sr., is a twenty-six year resident of Nashville-Davidson County, Tennessee. He has been happily married for nineteen years. Together he and his wife have two children, a daughter and a son. Their children are shining products of the Metropolitan Nashville Public School System.

Occupational Background
For the last sixteen years Reverend Dockery has been a pastor (Beythel Family Church and Mount Sinai Cumberland Presbyterian Church). He is the founder of Building Families & Communities (BFC) Missions Incorporated, a 501 (C) (3) non-profit organization.
He has worked as a Special Education teacher in the Metropolitan Nashville Public School System, as a Treatment Counselor in a dual diagnosis psychiatric center (First Hospital Corporation), a supervisor at a youth detention center (Tennessee Department of Children Services), a producer and radio talk show host (1470AM WVOL ), resident panel member of a local radio talk show (“Straight Talk” – 760AM) for over six years and the Executive Producer of a cable television show (The Building Family & Community Show, cable channel 19 NECAT).
