Josh Russell

I currently work as a Research Assistant in the Research and Policy division of a Kansas City nonprofit. My research focuses on education issues - specifically urban education and education data quality - and entrepreneurship. My position includes data collection, storage, and management, the development of modeling tools, and writing about current education and entrepreneurial trends.

I am also starting my first year at Purdue University pursuing an MS in Economics. I am excited to delve into the advanced theory route of this program and get a deeper look into microeconomics and econometrics.

As I pursue my next degree and work full-time I am trying to find the right balance between work, school, independent research, and the rest of my life.
