Rutgers Formula Racing

Every year we build and design a racecar from the ground up. Aside from the engine block, tires and materials, the car is fabricated entirely by matriculated Rutgers University students.

We attend up to three intercollegiate competitions per year. The season commences out west in California, before heading to Michigan for the largest event of the year and we finally close out the season in Toronto at the start of October. These competitions pit Rutgers against some of the top universities in the world with teams traveling from as far as Germany, Austria and England.

Rutgers FSAE also has a strong link to the local automotive community. As such it is not uncommon to see us in attendance at S.C.C.A, Grand Am, and American Le Mans Series events at local New Jersey racetracks. Most recently we were in the Tri State Auto Show and the NY Auto Show.
