When I write, I like to write about sports. I compare my writing to a baseball season. My writing, is divided into three parts introduction, body paragraphs, and conclusion. Just like baseball it starts off with spring training then regular season and then post season.
In spring training, the players try out new techniques and practice hard. They also stretch their body and try to stay loose. Just like spring training, I try out new ways to write better and work hard. Also, I stretch my mind and think about what to write.
In the regular season, the manager sees who is playing well and who works together well. At this point in my writing I see what ideas go together and how well my paragraphs form and my word choices. It is a difficult time for me to write because it takes time, effort, and lots of effort. Also it can be a long process just like a baseball season.
In the post season, the goal is to win the championship. They do this by putting their best players in the game. In my writing, my plan for the finished paper is to get my best ideas on the paper in great form so that my paper is a big "hit".
