When he served as a Research Assistant Intern at National Strategies, Inc. in Washington, DC, Ryan Dean conducted comprehensive research and analysis, which was particularly connected with the unique local, state and national political agendas for candidates, political groups and private industry entities. Moreover, Ryan worked alongside grass-roots political awareness ad campaigns that were typically conducted via social media platforms.

Serving as an Account Associate Intern at Christie Communications in Santa Barbara, CA from January 2011 to April 2011, Ryan Dean drafted the press releases and public relations content for clients. He also had to build prospective client lists and to conduct the research necessary for creating a comparative business analysis spreadsheet. Ryan Dean was employed as an Undergraduate Student Research Assistant at the Social Science Survey Center and Benton Research Lab in UCSB, a job he held from September 2009 till May 2011. His responsibilities included conducting telephone based surveys for University research, and direct assistance with the review and editing of each respective survey questionnaire to ensure delivery of the most concise, clear and quality surveys. He distinguished himself for providing a high conversion ratio.
