An accomplished pharmacist with more than a decade of experience in the clinical pharmacy field, Ryan Mills serves as pharmacy manager at Novant Health in Charlotte, North Carolina. He began his tenure with the company as a clinical staff pharmacist at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem in 2011 before working his way up to oversee pharmacy services at Novant Health Kernersville Medical Center, and Novant Health Clemmons Medical Center. Before working at Novant Health, he worked in the retail pharmacy setting with CVS and also worked as a home infusion pharmacist at Coram Specialty Infusion Services.

After earning his doctor of pharmacy degree from West Virginia University, Ryan Mills went on to become one of the few pharmacists in the country to pursue a joint MBA-MHA, at Pfeiffer University. Further, he did this while completing his Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS) certification, and attending the Pharmacy Leadership Academy sponsored by the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) Foundation. Outside of his work, he enjoys running competitively and has completed two half-Ironman triathlons.
