Ryan Vucina

As Chief Operations Manager for Carmel, California-based Vucina Construction, Inc., Ryan Vucina oversees all facets of construction for multimillion-dollar residential and mixed-use building projects. In the preliminary phases, he calculates projected construction costs, assesses contractor proposals, and executes contract negotiations. He also consults with clients throughout construction to discuss progress updates and design alterations. Together with project architects, Ryan Vucina reviews architectural plans to ensure adherence with building codes and the American Disabilities Act Standards for Accessible Design. On site, he monitors subcontractor performance and maintains OSHA and other safety regulations. He additionally mediates issues with neighboring residents and records all project logs.
During his tenure with Vucina Construction, Ryan Vucina has contributed to the award-winning rehabilitation of the Green Mansion, a historic building noted for its use as the first headquarters of the Boy Scouts of America. He also helped the company win an honor from the City of Monterey for building the city’s firs Alzheimer’s care center.
Ryan Vucina studied business management at Monterey Peninsula College. While a student at Pacific Grove High School, he earned All-League honors as an offensive tackle for the football team and received athletic scholarship offers from three colleges.
