My top 5 strengths on StrengthsQuest are competition, strategic, achiever, ideation and woo. The one that most reflects me is competition. I absolutely love competition of all types, whether is is against other people or against myself. I use it to drive me to accomplish great things and I think it helps to explain my other strengths. I use strategy, brainstorming, and woo to help me compete and achieve. Competition helps me excel in the classroom and helps me form meaningful relationships outside of it. Competition means I have a desire to be the best and a love for pursuing it.

Curriculum Plan Activities

Our curriculum planning activities allowed us to see where we are at in terms of graduation requirements and helped us plan for our future classes. We had to run a degree audit which showed us which graduation requirements we had met and which ones we still needed to fulfill. We then created a tentative course plan for our next 3 semesters here at Ohio State. This activity helped me a ton because it allowed me to see what I need to do to complete my education goals and then allowed me to start planning for it. It out me in a better position to be successful and allowed me to alleviate any stress that I might have been feeling about my future. Curriculum planning help teach me just ow important it is to plan ahead and has provided me with a template which i can use in my future endeavors.

Time Management Activities

For this activity we had to chart where we spent our time for an entire week. What I found is that I spent most of my time sleeping, in class, studying, or at the gym. I also found that I spent a ton of time going places and too much time on my phone or computer. This activity helped me find parts of my life where I could better use my time and where I can grow. It taught me that I need to use my time more wisely and cut back on things that aren't very important like tv or my phone. I can use this information immediately by changing my habits and devoting more time to the things I feel are important like school and sleep.
