Ryan Lauderdale
I was born in Anaheim, Ca but was raised in Carson, Ca. I attented North High in Torrance, Ca where I received 2 Varsity letters in track and football and was a major contributor on the 2002 CIF Div X Finalist team.
After high school, I attented L.A. Harbor College where we were the winners of the US Bank Bowl. I transfered to Orange Coast College where I recieved All-Conference honors and was rewarded with the teams best receiver honors.
I started running track at San Jose JC where in my first year, made it to the State Championship as a javelin thrower. The next year, while at Long Beach CC, I returned to the State Championship and placed sixth amongst all javelin throwers in California.
In 2008 I graduated from San Jose State University where I received a degree in Sociology. While attending SJSU I played football and was honored as a scholarly athlete. In 2006 our team got an invite to play in the innagural New Mexico Bowl game where we won.
After graduation I returned to the fitness industry and began employment at 24 hr Fitness at the sport club in Long Beach, California. While there I named trainer of the month in April of 2009.
In December of 2009 I began employment at Equinox Fitness in Pasadena, Ca. Simultaneously I started an internship at Velocity Sports Performance. Both places are a dream to work for. While at Equinox I had the opportunity to be the Fitness creative director for Christy Yamaguchi's: Gold Medal workout video and also Erin O'Brien Denton's: Strong Body, Fit Body. When at Velocity I was able to be an assistant coach with the guys who were training for the 2009 and 2010 NFL Combine's.
Recently, I was hired by NIKE (and OBE) to conduct the Nike Training Club at the Santa Monica Nike store.
