I am the proud mama of two crazy boys. They are the light of my life, and they challenge me every single day. Some days, I want to pull out my hair and cry. Other days, I learn something about myself that I never knew. Disclaimer: I never planned on becoming a stay at home mom. That law school debt won't pay for itself, after all! Truth be told, I never thought I'd want to stay at home ALL day with my kids. Once my first baby arrived, the assumption that I had about staying at home was the first of many assumptions about motherhood to fall by the wayside.

That said, it can all be a little daunting--babies, toddlers, cooking, cleaning, budgeting, another pregnancy (yikes!), playdates, new mom friends, new (larger) wardrobe, etc. Trust me, I get it! Turning away from my own career and learning to refocus my life plans on raising a family was, and still is, a work in progress.
