Thanks for stopping by!
I make all kinds of things, but mostly, I enjoy creating hand-made goods that are cherished, loved and most importantly used.
When I graduated from high-school, I went to college for the most normal and seemingly sensible thing I could think of; Biology. Turned out that biology, chemistry and math were never my thing.
So then I got sensible. I applied to be in the art program! I got accepted and quickly fell in love with everything that had to do with fibers and fabrics. I dyed fabric, sewed it together, stretched it, weaved it and even felted it. The fibers lab felt like home, and sometimes I made it home for hours on end.
While gaining a college degree I worked for a local sail maker building giant sails for sail boats. I got to use industrial sewing machines that could punch a hole and loop a thread through almost anything.
I made a trapper-keeper cover in high-school home economics. I that was my first real sewing piece. It fit real nice!
At any rate, I can make my way around a sewing machine pretty well. So now I do, a lot. I make hats, bags and other things.
Turns out...I'm better at sewing than at biology. I hope you like my creations.
