Brother Sherman L. Hill was born in Columbus, GA. He is the oldest of 8 kids from Maralyn A. Dotson. SSG Hill joined the military in Oct of 2000; He attended Basic Training at Fort Jackson, S.C. and completed AIT at Fort Eustis, VA where he became an Alpha model Attack Helicopter Mechanic. SSG Hill was selected for promotion to Sergeant First Class in September of 2015 and is currently awaiting his sequence number to be promoted.

He has been married for 4 years to his wife Brandy Michelle Hill (formally Eury) of Salisbury, North Carolina and they have 6 kids among them both; Kavan-13, Matea’- 13, Joseph-9, Teigain-9, Abraham-7, Abigail-2.

Brother Hill’s military education includes: Warrior Leaders Course, Advanced Leader Course, Senior Leaders Course, Equal Opportunity Leader Course, Master Resiliency Course, Unit Prevention Leader Course, Army Basic Instructor Course, Army Small Groups Instructor Course, Combat Life Saver Course, and Air Assault Course. Brother Hill is currently pursuing his degree with The University of Alabama.

Bro. Hill was raised in South Griffin Lodge # 697 in Phenix City, AL in 2005. He is currently serving as Worshipful Master for Beehive Military Lodge #66

Brother Hill takes great pride in building those around him and encouraging them to become productive people. His goal is to provide guidance or learn something whether positive or negative from any and everyone that he comes in contact with whether that be through conversation or through observing those around him.Brother Hill has completed 400 documented Hours in youth Sports in Fort Rucker, Alabama. Was nominated for Volunteer of the year 2 years in a row.He has an outstanding way of getting things done and always working to increase his knowledge and share with others around him.
