I like to describe myself as a creative freelancer who has written for radio, theatre and film. I self-published my debut novel Imagine This, which won the 2008 Commonwealth Writer’s Prize.

My first short film More Cake, was made in 2013 and was adapted from one of my a short stories and my second short film A Mother's Journey, continues the story of the protagonist from my award winning novel.

In my spare time, I produce short story podcasts, promoting African literature, writers and stories. SWoSSP can be downloaded for FREE, from iTunes, SoundCloud and Mixcloud. My collection of short stories ‘A Book of Shorts’ will be published by the end of 2015.
