Sally Butcher
Writer in London, United Kingdom
I am an accidental and accident-prone shop-keeper, and before that I was an accidental and accident-prone chef. Both experiences have given me a lot to laugh about and even more to write about.
I have penned five books: Persia in Peckham, Veggiestan, Snackistan, Salmagundi and Persepolis, which is due out in Autumn 2016. And I seem to be working on another ten or so.
When I am not running my shop or scribbling booky things, I write around four blogs of my own. I am also increasingly doing extra-curricular stuff: pop-up events, outside catering, cookery classes... If you want me to write or cook something for you, just ask.
I have a Persian husband (Jamshid, who is the real brain behind the business) and a non-Persian cat (Chombol, who does nothing).
