Sam Tock

Hello, my name is Sam Tock and I am a freshman at the University of Georgia. My home base is in Marietta, GA so I have been a UGA fan for most of my life. Therefore, being a student at Georgia means a lot to me and my family. My older brother, who is my only sibling also attends UGA which is super cool. I do have many pets at home including 2 dogs a snake, multiple fish tanks, and 2 geckos that I do miss though. So far, my experience at this school has been great, and I have been able to keep up with my hobbies and friends. I have always been super into sports having played lacrosse and basketball for most of my life, but now I watch sports more than play them. Going to football games in Athens this past fall was easily one of my favorite parts about UGA. I am also in Greek life which has helped me meet many great friends and network. Athens is very fun, but being a student also means a lot to me, so I like to focus on balancing school and fun. I am an intended MIS major and plan to get into the Terry School of Business next year. I look forward to the rest of my time here at UGA and cannot wait to continue my academic and social journey.
