Saman Beiraghi
Founder of OMPFinex in Tehran, Iran
Saman Beiraghi was born on September 6, 1982, in Shahreza, Isfahan Province, Iran. After completing his secondary education in mathematics and physics, he pursued a degree in civil engineering. He began his professional career in 2004, working in technical and engineering services.
His involvement in the exhibition and advertising industry opened the door to long-term collaborations with some of Iran’s leading industrial and petrochemical companies, including Bushehr Petrochemical, Bakhtar Holding, and several firms specializing in industrial infrastructure and equipment supply.
Over the years, much of his business activity focused on sourcing and supplying equipment for the petrochemical sector, particularly from European markets. This experience enabled him to build a strong international network and gain valuable expertise in foreign trade and cross-border business operations.
After nearly 14 years of working within Iran’s petrochemical industry, Beiraghi turned his attention to emerging financial technologies. As fintech and digital assets gained momentum globally—and as businesses adapted to the economic challenges brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic—he expanded his activities into the fields of blockchain and cryptocurrency.
In 2021, he co-founded OMPFinex, a cryptocurrency exchange platform that has since become one of the recognized players in Iran’s digital asset ecosystem. As Founder and Chairman of the Board, he has been actively involved in shaping the company’s growth, drawing on his background in international trade, business development, and strategic management.
Beyond his executive responsibilities, Beiraghi has also contributed to the development of international cooperation in the blockchain and cryptocurrency sector. He served as Secretary of the First International Cryptocurrency and Blockchain Conference, helping to foster dialogue and collaboration between Iranian and international industry participants.
His efforts have supported the establishment of partnerships and memorandums of understanding with organizations and companies involved in cross-border payments and financial technologies, particularly in countries such as Russia and the United Arab Emirates.
In 2024, he was recognized as the Figure of the Year in Iran’s cryptocurrency exchange ecosystem, reflecting his role in the growth and development of the country's digital asset industry.
