Sammy Mitchell

An Oklahoma City native, Sammy Mitchell is an emerging singer and songwriter. He began playing guitar at a young age and started performing audio production skills at the age of 13. His strong interest and passion for making music come to life, led him to get the chance to tour with the band, The City Lives. In late 2011, Sammy Mitchell moved to Nashville, TN to finish college at Belmont University. In 2014, shortly after graduating, the Multi-Platinum and Grammy Award Winning songwriting duo The Jackie Boyz and their manager, Lain Pirie, a highly recognized music executive noticed Sammy and together the group and Sammy began working together. Together the group formed a relationship with Razor & Tie. In July 2015 a publishing deal was set.

Black Cat Studio is home to Sammy Mitchell. The studio is recognized as Nashville’s local music production and recording studio. The studio concentrates on songwriting and helps talented individuals get major placements.
