Samuel Bride

An established New York physician, Samuel Bride, MD, oversees UMD Urgent Care clinics in Williamsburg and Long Island City as their medical director. A graduate of The College of William and Mary in Virginia, Dr. Samuel Bride earned his BA in government and English literature while competing in Division I tennis.
A lab researcher at Children’s Hospital Boston (now Boston Children’s Hospital) in the late 1990s, Dr. Bride has more than two decades of health care experience. During that time, he achieved finalist status for an American Academy of Pediatrics Basic Science Research Prize.
Dr. Samuel Bride next joined the Department of Neuroscience: Genetics and Aging Research Unit at Massachusetts General Hospital in research capacities and pursued his MD at the Boston University School of Medicine. His advanced medical training includes a Maimonides Medical Center vascular surgery fellowship completed in Brooklyn.
Over the years Dr. Bride has volunteered in a number of international settings, including with Gambia’s Lamtoro Medical Clinic/Royal Victoria Teaching Hospital and at the Zaatari Refugee Camp through the Jordan Health Aid Society.
