Sandy Hunter

Hello! I am amazed and happy to be in my 33rd year as a School Counselor 😊. As a counselor at Penn High School, I work with 10th -12th graders with last names Coo-Hal (for grades 11th and 12th) and Craig-Hadian (10th grade).

I often assist students with a variety of issues related to: academic achievement, career/college goals and social/emotional concerns. I practice gratitude daily and encourage my students to do so as well. Advocacy for students is one of my strengths and I encourage students to self-advocate. I can also help students set goals and create balance in their busy lives.

In my spare time, I enjoy the outdoors, walking my dog, kayaking, boating, camping and going to the beach. My daughter and her family, which includes two grandsons, brings me much joy!
