She moved to Allendale, Michigan at the end of 2004 until the middle of 2006. She moved back to Colorado in the middle of 2006. Megan Folden was mainly raised by her Grandma, Sarah Jane Roloff until Megan's grandma passed away from Brain Cancer in December of 2005. Once her grandma passed away she lived with her father(Sage) every other weekend and every summer and her mother(Jeanette) for the remainder. Megan went to Mark-Twain Elementary, James Monroe Elementary, Andrew Jackson Elementary, and Oak Creek Elementary for Elementary School in Colorado Springs, CO. She went to West middle school for 6th grade and was Home-Schooled for the rest of her middle school years. Megan went to Mitchell high school, Coronado High school, and Wasson high school for her 9th and 10th grade years and then dropped out of the end of 10th grade at Wasson High school. Megan then got a job at Taco Bell in 2007 and Quit in 2008. Towards the end of 2008, Megan got a job at Luce Research and quit at the beginning of 2011. Megan has had miscellaneous jobs since then like baby-sitting and taking care of her now 2 year old daughter, Sara Rayne Romero, whom blessed this world on January 11, 2012 at 11:57 a.m in Colorado Springs, CO; at Penrose St.Francis North hospital. Megan met Sara's father, Jody Shaw Romero, in Colorado Springs in 2009 towards the end of April.
