Many little girls share similar dreams about becoming a princess when they grow up (living in a castle, meeting prince charming, having mice make your dresses, etc). I guess we can thank that to all the unrealistic fairytales we read as kids (thanks mom). But my dreams never faded as I grew up, instead they started to become surprisingly achievable. After some research and discussion with some princesses at Disney, I realized becoming one is easier than I thought. One simple application and internship at Disney and I would be set. But unlike all the other wanna-be princesses who share my similar dream, my name actually means princess in Hebrew. Anyone that knows me is very familiar with my obsession with princesses. Last year when I won Homecoming Queen I was slightly disappointed that I didn’t get to have the title “Homecoming Princess” which I much rather would’ve preferred, but was still overwhelmed with joy to have won. However being a princess comes with so many perks. I would get to dress up all fancy every day in glass slippers and hangout with eager excited little youngsters. And most importantly, I would get to live out my favorite fairy tales in real life and get paid for it. Long story short, my name is Sarah Williamson and I want to be a princess when I grow up.
