The president of Leverage Design Studio in Jackson Heights, Queens, Sat Parkash has overseen commercial and residential interior and exterior architectural design projects throughout the greater New York City area. His projects include a 4,500-square-foot infant day care in Queens, a nonprofit Hindu temple in Elmhurst, and a multi family residential building in Woodside. Sat Parkash is currently expanding into Long Island, completing façade work and renovating a mansion.
His responsibilities with Leverage include representing clients before administrative law judges within the Environmental Control Board court system. His duties in this area range from removing work stop orders and violations to seeking extensions and working with plan examiners to resolve zoning issues.
Outside of the professional environment, Mr. Parkash is a fan of Manna Dey and other Indian classical pop musicians. He is also an avid cook, who particularly enjoys the international cuisines of Europe and Asia.
