Certified by both the Athletic Trainers Association and the National Strength and Conditioning Association, Satoshi Kajiyama recently served as a trainer with the Orthopedic and Sports Enhancement Center in Bloomington, Illinois. He offered general patient care for close to three years, during which time he also served as head certified trainer for Heartland Community College and the Normal CornBelters, a professional baseball team in Illinois. Also part of the Athletic Training Program Advisory Council at Illinois State University, Satoshi Kajiyama accepted the Frontier League Trainer of the Year honor in 2012.
Satoshi Kajiyama holds a bachelor of science in physical education from Bridgewater State College, as well as a master of science in kinesiology and recreation from Illinois State University. He completed his graduate assistantship as the primary trainer for the university's baseball team, in which role he helped to lead the team to its first Missouri Valley Conference Championship. Also a former intern with such prominent baseball organizations as the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Boston Red Sox, Mr. Kajiyama draws on an in-depth knowledge of several patient review instrument techniques as well as formal training in the Graston Technique.
