A long-time resident of Los Gatos, California, financial advisor Scott Cruse moved to the San Francisco Bay Area city in the late 1980s. Currently, he serves as the Senior Vice President of Morgan Stanley Smith Barney in Los Gatos, where his hard work has earned him placement in the President’s Club as well as the Circle of Excellence. A senior member of the company, Scott Cruse provides leadership, advice, and counsel to the younger advisors and associates. He is also a member of the Senior Investment Management Consulting Group.

Scott Cruse primarily serves high net-worth individuals and companies in and around the Los Gatos area. He manages his clients’ financial assets and provides estate planning services, designing and implementing customized financial plans according to his clients’ unique financial goals. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, Scott Cruse attended San Jose State University, where he studied business administration and kinesiology, earning a Bachelor of Science. Next, he attended San Francisco State University, where he studied education at the graduate level. He also played baseball during his college years and became a semi-professional player with the Atlanta Braves. After moving to the Bay Area, he played with the San Francisco Men’s Senior Baseball League while serving as Vice President of the Los Gatos Little League. In addition to little league, he enjoys supporting local charities and nonprofits, including Catholic Charities.
