Scott Sharer

Scott is the founder of Communication Design Group Inc. (1995-present), serving many Fortune 500 companies and various branches of the US DoD and US & International Law Enforcement communities in areas of Future Technology creation and "unique" UC & Visual Communications.

Scott holds a BA from Mary Washington College (1977) and an MFA in Design and Technology from Texas Christian University (1979). He has served on the faculty of TCU (1979- 1981), Cornell University (1981- 1982), and The University of Missouri (1982- 1985). Scott is a part time special lecturer for The George Washington University- School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. He is presently working on a PhD in Security and Gobal Terrorism.

Scott holds a professional certification in education and is a Certified Technical Specialist. He is a member of Kappa Delta Pi, the National Honor Society of Educators, the NDIA (National Defense Industries Association) and of the American Society for Training & Development. Scott has recently completed his CHPSE and is a Certified Expert in HIPAA Security Regulation and Implementation. He is also working with active members of the US Army Ranger Command under the JSOC, and an off-shoot group known as The Dead Man's Hand, currently training in a classroom Scott built for them and in live-fire drills on Scott's property.

Scott lives and works near Savannah, Georgia, in Rincon, with his wife of more than 29 years. They enjoy specialty shooting of hand-guns and sniper rilfes, riding Segways, fishing and swimming (enclosed pool & 1-acre pond on-property), caring for rescued animals [especially the tigers he rescued in 2002], and they both actively work with Charities that serve Aging and Home-Bound individuals.

His tombstone will read: "He Was Never Bored - *Memento Mori"
