I spent the first 3 years of my professional life in the U.S. Navy, and am a veteran of the Gulf War. I was deployed for over 90 days in the Persian Gulf, and visited cites such as Dubai and the United Arab Imirates.

I worked in "Corporate America" for 17 years at an executive management level in the health care field, managing hospitals, surgery centers and outpatient centers. My last job in healthcare was as the Executive Director of the State of Louisiana's Medicaid Long-Term-Care Program.

My home town is Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where my family, the culture, and local sports have me clinging to my roots. I have been fortunate enough to see most every state across the U.S. and lived in San Diege, CA, Jacksonville, FL, Mechanicsburg, PA, and Ardmore, OK at one time or another

I am a huge sports fan. I bleed the purple and gold of LSU, the Dallas Cowboys (NFL) and Boston Celtics (NBA).
