I am Scott A. Vancil, an actor, writer, and director. I write screenplays in both standard and verse form (Iambic Pentameter). I also write novels, poetry, comic books, and short fiction. Two of my dream roles as an actor are Marvel's Daredevil and DC's The Joker.

After attending Hutchinson Community College for General Education, Acting, Broadcast Media, and Creative Writing, I transferred into the University of Kansas (KU) for a Non-degree Seeking program, allowing further training in Acting, Film Production, and Screenwriting. I completed the certificate program the 2016 UCLA Professional Program in Acting for the Camera focusing on Acting for the Camera, Scene Studies, and Career Development with many special industry guests. I recently completed playing the lead in the feature film Child and will go on to play a series regular in the pilot for Dirty Laundry a dramedy, before producing my own short film and feature.
